Monsignor McCoy win ASAA Golf Provincials

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Students from Monsignor McCoy are capping off their golf season with a provincial championship.

The team of Nolan Burzminski, Ryan Hodgins, Caleb Kinch and Sam Bratvold competed in the Alberta Schools Athletic Association golf championship at Calgary Academy this week, finishing in first place on Tuesday.

The team finished with a combined score of 452, seven strokes ahead of second-place Strathcona.

Individually, Kinch finished in eighth place following the two day event with a combined score of 153 (78 and 75). Hodgins finished 11th with a combined score of 154, while Burzminski finished in 19th place with a score of 162. Bratvold finished 45th, scoring 172 over two days.
