LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB — Alberta Health Services has issued a boil water advisory for 180 customers in Lethbridge County.

According to a news release, a potable water line servicing the Lethbridge North County Water Coalition has been damaged.

Residents are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before prior to any consumption, including drinking, brushing teeth, cleaning raw foods, preparing formula for infants and making ice.

Water used for bathing or laundry does not need to be boiled. For hand-washing, residents are advised to wash with soap and water, and use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing more than 60 per cent alcohol after drying their hands. Bottled water can also be purchased for consumption.
