Chyzowski to attend Golden Knights training camp

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Ryan Chyzowski is heading back to Sin City.

The Medicine Hat Tigers forward says he plans to attend Vegas Golden Knights training camp in mid-September. It’ll be the 18-year-old’s second trip to Nevada after receiving an invite to take part in prospects orientation camp shortly after the NHL Draft.

Chyzowski went overlooked by NHL scouts in this year’s selection, but turned the heads of Golden Knights brass after scoring 21 goals and 31 assists, while playing in all 72 games last year.

Much of that scoring touch was found in the latter half of the 2017-18 campaign, culminating with scoring four goals in six playoff games.

Heading into a fresh season, Chyzowski says he continues to raise his own expectations both on the ice as an offensive workhorse, and as a leader away from the rink.

In a recent interview with CHAT Sports, the 6’0″, 183 lbs Golden Knights prospect discusses how his first trip to Vegas went, his training regime during the off-season, and how he plans to execute another strong campaign for the Orange and Black.
