Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – August 7

Mad Hatter
To those complaining about costs at having both Strathcona and Veiner Centre usage.  The city helps those that can’t pay full price.  If you do the math per month it is more economical compared to other alternatives in town.

Happy Hatter
Had such a great long weekend relaxing. Sometimes it’s nice to do nothing but relax.

Mad Hatter
AISH pays better than some employers.  Why would someone on AISH get more than someone working for minimum wage plus they can work up to a certain dollar amount before deductions?

Mad Hatter
This city is full of greedy, corrupt slumlords who cash in at the expense of others. We’ve never seen anything like it; pathetic and disgusting. These crooks expect good hard-working people to live in poorly maintained, dirty, mouldy junk suites that they wouldn’t be caught dead living in. Medicine Hat should be ashamed.

Happy Hatter
Even though the weather on Saturday and Sunday weren’t the greatest, it was nice to have Monday off to do some yard work and hang out outside.

Mad Hatter
Hey, you people who put up the war memorial on the Redcliff Hill. Please take care of it.  It’s starting to look very weedy and overgrown.  If it’s not going to be maintained, get rid of it and do something else to honour our veterans…

Happy Hatter
Extremely Happy to see the story about police going after distracted drivers this month! Would be nice to see the fine raised to $1000.00!  That way police would have even more motivation to go after these criminals that risk my life every time they drive a vehicle distracted. There are way too many people texting away on their phone in the obvious place where they think their device is hidden.  The angle of your head and focused eye direction gives you all away, so stop being stupid and just pull over if its that important.

Mad Hatter
Not impressed to find that the city fertilized Kin Coulee Park and did not warn the public to keep your dogs & kids off the grass for 48hours until the fertilizer has been devolved by the sprinklers/rain.  2-Days I went there and the fertilized was still there looking new as ever in plain site. Pets pick up the residues on their fur and paws and quickly ingest them by licking.  Make sure you wash your pets’ paws after their walk in the park there for the week just to be safe.

Happy Hatter
LOVE what they did to the Boat Launch Parking Area in Strathcona Island Park.  Long Needed!
