Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – July 30
Mad Hatter
If you don’t want to maintain your lawn, then get rid of it and replace it with a dry alternative. If you have a yard, then control the weeds so others home don’t have to deal with the invasion in theirs. You shovel after it snows or hire a company to do it for you. Don’t use excuses because you bought it or rented it, it is your responsibility. If you don’t want to, there are alternatives places you can live.
Happy Hatter
happy this province has never had so much representation with this current party. Numerous ministers have been in our fine city. No thanks to our Mayor & his witty tongue earlier. Thanks, NDP/Wanner for bringing them. You should be proud.
Mad Hatter
Interesting that the people with unwatered, brown, weedy lawns in the summer are often the same ones with unshovelled sidewalks all winter. Can’t use the ‘we live in a desert’ or ‘cost of watering’ excuse when there is a six-inch build-up of ice.
Mad Hatter
People complaining about lawns – I understand not being happy about weeds! That makes complete sense. Weeds are gross, out of control and also cheaply manageable… I really do understand the complaints about weeds. But, under no condition will I spend so much of my hard earned money on water to keep my lawn green. Last year I spent an extra $60 a month during the summer for a slightly green lawn. That might not be a lot to you, but it is a lot to me. Don’t like it? Move somewhere with rich people who are also super pretentious about their lawns.
