Commercial vehicle inspection causing delays on highway

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Drivers in Medicine Hat are likely to see delays on the Trans-Canada Highway this afternoon.

A commercial vehicle inspection station is currently set up on the Trans-Canada Highway near the College Drive overpass.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane in both directions, and drivers can expect delays.

The Alberta Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Branch, along with Alberta Sheriffs, are conducting commercial vehicle checks during June to ensure drivers and operators are following provincial standards.
