Methanex hosting Community Day June 14

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Methanex is opening its doors to the community next week.

The company is hosting Community Day on June 14 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The event will feature a barbecue from noon – 2 p.m., with all proceeds being donated to the Praxis Society in Medicine Hat.

Community Days will also feature a guided bus tour of the plant, demonstrations from their emergency response teams, and will provide information about operations and products at the site.

The company says those touring the plant must be 10 years of age and older, and closed-toe shoes are required on the grounds.
