Medicine Hat player selected in WHL Bantam Draft

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A member of the SEAC Tigers had his named called at the Western Hockey League bantam draft on Thursday.

Caleb Wyrostok of the SEAC Tigers was drafted by the Swift Current Broncos in the ninth round, 197th overall.

It’s the first time in five years a Medicine Hat player has been selected in the WHL Bantam Draft.

Wyrostok played 27 games this season with the Tigers, scoring 24 points (15 goals, 9 assists).
