Kunlun Red Star forward Kelli Stack has clinched the Angela James Bowl as the top scorer in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.

The 30-year-old Stack produced 26 goals and 48 points in 28 regular-season games to become the first American to lead the seven-team league in scoring.

Stack finished seven points ahead of runner up Cayley Mercer of the Vanke Rays.

She hit the scoresheet in 25-of-28 regular-season games and had a six-point outing in January in a 6-0 win over the Toronto Furies. The Cleveland native also led the league with five game-winning goals.

Stack had the highest point total in six CWHL seasons, with her 48 points being the most since Meghan Agosta’s 80 in 2011-12.

Kunlan finished the regular season 21-6-1, good for second place behind the Les Canadiennes Montreal (22-5-1).

The Clarkson Cup final goes March 25 at Toronto’s Ricoh Coliseum.
