Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – Jan 22

Mad Hatter
Why does the city not do anything about the insane amounts of ice on sidewalks? It is so dangerous walking around. Either people should be salt their walks, the city should clear them, or people should be fined for having such dangerous sidewalks. Something needs to be done.

Happy Hatter
Happy to have such a wonderful and caring support system who are always there during the good and the bad.

Mad Hatter
Eastern Liberals who come to Alberta and Medicine Hat in particular, brag about how great it is in their home towns and try to educate us Western Hicks on how things should be done because “this is how things are done in Halifax or Toronto”, yet they seem to gloss over or completely forget the billions of dollars Alberta and Alberta taxpayers send eastward every year in transfer payments.  Do you think that us Westerners may be doing something right in that our money, that could be spent here in this province, ends up being neatly deposited in the bank accounts of those eastern provinces?  A nice “Thank you” would be appreciated every now and again. Oh, and maybe acknowledge that we do know what we are doing.

Happy Hatter
That I have such a caring and generous man in my life. He’s so helpful especially when things have been so difficult for me. Thanks, I appreciate it more than you know.

Mad Hatter
That our landlord was intoxicated when he came over to fix an issue in our suite. Hopefully the police catch you. City is full of impaired drivers. Apparently, some people don’t learn.

Happy Hatter
Happy with my new fitness routine that is helping to make winter bearable.

Mad Hatter
Look, I love Chinooks and all, but I wish the city was more prepared for them. When we go from cold to warm to cold, the amount of ice created on the roadways, sidewalks and parking lots is immense. If we had plowed roads and parking lots this wouldn’t be as much a problem in the first place.

Happy Hatter
Neighbours who are neighbourly make me a Happy Hatter. Very nice to know you have someone else looking out for your home.

Happy Hatter
Thank you to my co-worker who worked late with me just so I wouldn’t fall behind on work.
