Police search for male suspect after break and enter

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Police are on the lookout for a male suspect after breaking into a home in Crescent Heights early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to a home in the 900 block of Holt Crescent NE shortly after 2:00 a.m. after hearing that a resident was awoken by a loud bang.

The person who was home at the time found a man standing in the kitchen, after kicking in one of the doors.

He was confronted by the resident and took off.

He’s described as a white man, believed to be in his 30’s. He stands about six feet tall and has a slim build with short brown or dirty blonde hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt at the time.
