MEDICINE HAT, AB — Not often do we see such skill and speed in junior hockey as what Chad Butcher possesses.

The 21-year-old Kamloops, B.C. product is one of three Tigers who graduate from the WHL this season, having played their final games as a Tiger on Tuesday night.

Butcher leaves the league as the Tigers leading scorer for the 2016-17 season, collecting a career high 27 goals and 76 assists for 103 points. On top of that, he was influential in the Tigers playoff run with 13 points; tying John Dahlstrom and David Quenneville for the team-lead.

The 3rd round selection in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft is easily identified by his undeniable speed and lightning-fast stick-handling skills on the ice.
