Feb 13, 2017 | 4:54 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes started a new winning streak in Cranbrook, and in the process crept within six points of the Medicine Hat Tigers for top spot in the WHL Central division.

One night after the Hurricanes were blanked 5-0 by the Tigers at the Canalta Centre, Lethbridge took a 6-4 win from the Ice in Cranbrook.

That moves Lethbridge closer to the Tigers, but each team has now played the same number of games.

The Tigers carry a 4 game winning streak into their game on Wednesday night against the visiting Victoria Royals.
