VIDEO: Bandits look back on breaking AJHL win streak record
BROOKS, AB – You don’t have to look far to find Canada’s top Junior ‘A’ hockey team, as the Brooks Bandits are in the midst of a truly historic season.
The Bandits are coming off a 4-1 victory over the Fort McMurray Oil Barons on Saturday night, recording their 25th consecutive victory and setting a new AJHL record in the process.
Brooks now sits alone in first place in the AJHL record books, passing last season’s Okotoks Oilers club that won 24 straight games heading into playoffs.
