Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services responded to 221 calls in October

Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services responded to 221 calls for service in October, including 54 alarm calls and 39 medical responses.

The department also attended 29 motor vehicle collisions, 22 carbon monoxide or gas calls, 21 outside fires and 11 hazardous materials incidents.

Crews responded to six structure fires during the month.
