Medicine Hat Tigers sign Florida Panthers prospect Arvid Drott

The Medicine Hat Tigers have signed their first-round selection from the 2026 CHL Import Draft, Arvid Drott, the club announced late Wednesday morning.

Drott was selected 59th overall by the Tabbies in the Import Draft and hails from Stockholm, Sweden.

The 6’0″, 187lbs forward played for Djurgårdens IF U20 last season, posting 25 points over 28 games.

The 2007-born forward was selected by the Florida Panthers 192nd overall in the 2025 NHL Draft and joins an ever-growing list of NHL-drafted players on the Medicine Hat Tigers.
