Redcliff opens applications for new Municipal Policing Committee

May 6, 2026 | 5:26 PM

The Town of Redcliff is seeking applications from residents to serve on its newly established Municipal Policing Committee.

The committee is designed to serve as a bridge between the community, the town council and the RCMP, to help identify local policing priorities, support community engagement and provide input aimed at enhancing public safety.

Members will be appointed by the council and serve in an advisory role under the town’s Municipal Policing Committee Bylaw No. 2004/2026.

Applicants are expected to have an interest in community safety and bring relevant experience, knowledge or lived experience to support discussions on policing matters.

All successful applicants will be required to complete and pass an enhanced security screening before appointment.

Interested residents must submit an email including a brief statement of interest and relevant experience to Executive Assistant Bonnie Andres at bonnie.andres@redcliff.ca.

An information package, application form and copy of the bylaw are available at Redcliff Town Hall or online.

The deadline to apply is Friday, May 29.
