The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce will host the 2026 Home and Leisure Tradeshow from March 6 to 8, bringing more than 180 exhibitors to the Cypress Centre at the Medicine Hat Stampede and Exhibition grounds.

The three-day event will feature businesses from across southeastern Alberta offering products and services tied to home improvement and recreation.

Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce Events Manager Brad Tajiri said the show has grown slightly compared to last year.

“Our online ticket sales are tracking a bit higher this year than they have in the past, so we’re expecting good attendance,” Tajiri said.

Tajiri said the show will feature a diverse range of exhibitors, categorized by either the Home or Leisure banner.

“Under Home, we have everything that you need to get a head start on your spring project. So roofing, siding, windows, doors, landscaping, fencing, concrete, the whole works,” Tajiri said.

“Leisure is where we have cars, we have motorcycles, wide side by side. I’m looking at an RV right now, and a booth that’s fully stocked with patio furniture, coolers, beer cups, and all sorts of neat stuff.”

The event will also feature a $10,000 home refresh grand prize package that includes an interior design consultation and gift certificates to local businesses.

Other attractions include a Food Alley, a children’s play area with bouncy castles, and a new activity zone offering art activities from Creative Freedom Art Hub and fitness classes from SK Fitness.

Separate from the food alley, Tajiri said that specialty food vendors selling items such as pierogies, sausage, hot sauce, olive oil, salsa, beef jerky, and fudge will be coming to the trade show.

Tajiri has thanked the more than two dozen sponsors for making the event possible.

“We have a ton of great community partners that help us put the show together,” Tajiri said.
