Medicine Hat Tigers trade 20-year-old forward Misha Volotovskii to the Vancouver Giants
The Medicine Hat Tigers have traded 20-year-old forward Misha Volotovskii to the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a 2026 third round draft pick and a 2029 fifth round draft pick.
The moves comes following the return of fellow 20-year-old forward, Andrew Basha, to the Tabbies, putting the defending Western Hockey League Champions over the league limit of three 20-year-olds.
Volotovskii was acquired by the Tigers during last year’s trade deadline from the Saskatoon Blades amidst the Tanner Molendyk trade.
During his Tigers tenure, Volotovskii appeared in 82 regular season and playoff games for the Orange & Black, compiling 18 goals and 43 points over that span, along with a WHL Championship.
