Medicine Hat Tigers in Prince Albert to battle East Division leading Raiders

Nov 29, 2025 | 11:03 AM

The Medicine Hat Tigers (15-6-3-2) conclude the month of November in Prince Albert tonight as they battle the Eastern Division-leading Raiders (17-1-4-0).

The meeting is the first since the Tabbies swept the Raiders in last year’s Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Prince Albert has been as strong a team as exists across the entire Canadian Hockey League this season, ranking second in the most recent CHL power rankings.

The placement is understandable.

With just a single regulation loss this season, the Raiders look to be a top contender in the Western Hockey League.

The Raiders’ incredible start to the 2025-26 campaign has been led from between the pipes.

Michal Orsulak, their first-round selection in the 2025 CHL Import draft, has been stellar through the first two months of the season.

Orsulak boasts a 9-0-3-0 record, but more impressive than that are his 1.91 GAA and 0.922 SV% that accompany it, which sit first and second amongst qualified goaltenders.

Meanwhile, the reigning WHL champion Medicine Hat Tigers have been playing some of their best hockey as of late, entering the matchup following their most impressive offensive output of the season, in a 9-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades.

15 of 18 Tiger skaters recorded points in the victory over the Blades, with Jonas Woo leading the way with a pair of goals and assists.

Woo and Tigers captain Bryce Pickford continue to battle with one another for the most goals by a WHL defensemen this season, as the two enter tonight with 13 goals each, five clear of third place.

Medicine Hat enters with points in seven straight games, while Prince Albert enters the contest with points in six straight.

Puck drop in this heavyweight tilt is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. MST with the pre-game show getting underway at 5:45 on WILD 94.5 FM.
