Medicine Hat Tigers head to Saskatchewan to close out month of November

Nov 28, 2025 | 8:40 AM

The Medicine Hat Tigers conclude a bust month of November out east this weekend as they prepare for a back-to-back against the Saskatoon Blades and Prince Albert Raiders.

Tonight, the Tigers take on the Blades in the second of four matchups this season.

Medicine Hat won the lone other meeting between the clubs back on Saturday, September 27th, by a score of 4-1.

Saskatoon enters the matchup as a streaky team.

The Blades just saw a four-game winning streak snapped at the hands of the suddenly frisky Brandon Wheat Kings, but prior to that, had lost seven of their last eight.

Absent that eight-game stretch, the Blades would hold just four losses on the season, making them a very intriguing team to watch moving forward in a rather wide-open middle of the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Medicine Hat Tigers enter following a successful four-game in five-night week, where they collected seven of a possible eight points.

Over that span the Tigers’ power play has had chances but has failed to generate much in terms of scoring, having gone just one for 15.

They will need their special teams to be dialed in as they take on a Blades team that holds both a power play and penalty kill that sit within the top ten of the Western Hockey League.

Puckdrop from the SaskTel Centre is slated for 6:00 p.m. MST with the pre-game show getting underway at 5:45 on WILD 94.5 FM.
