Advance polling this weekend in Medicine Hat, Cypress County, Brooks and others

Advance polls for the fall municipal elections are open Saturday, Oct. 4, in both Medicine Hat and Cypress County.

Advanced voting in the city will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hockey Hounds Recreation Centre in Crescent Heights and the Holy Family Parish in South Ridge.

The advance polls for Medicine Hat continue from Tuesday, Oct. 14, to Saturday, Oct. 18, with the same hours and locations.

Advanced voting for the county is Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cypress County office in Dunmore.

Brooks will have advanced voting held at the JBS Canada Centre in the Cenovus Flexhall from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 18.

The County of Newell has advanced voting on Saturday, Oct.4 and Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the County of Newell Administration Building from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both of those days.

Forty Mile County will not require a vote, as each candidate has received acclamation in each of its seven divisions.

Advance voting in the Town of Redcliff is Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday, Oct. 16, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Redcliff Senior Citizen Centre.

Election day is Monday, Oct. 20.
