Online stream available for Wednesday’s election forum with Medicine Hat councillor candidates

A municipal election forum hosted by the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce at the Esplanade on Wednesday evening will be streamed through CHAT News Today.

It is set to feature 23 Medicine Hat councillor candidates.

The doors at the Esplanade will open at 5 p.m. for a meet and great with candidates.

The first forum will then begin with 11 candidates set to participate from 5:45 p.m. until an intermission at 7:15 p.m.

Those listed to be included in the first round are Kelly Allard, Ted Clugston, Christien Ellis, Ron Fode, Jay Hitchen, Kevin Monson, Randall Noble, Cheryl Phaff, Steven Pudwell, Alison Van Dyke, and Troy Wason.

The second forum on Wednesday will begin at 7:30 p.m. with 12 candidates confirmed to be participating.

Included will be Bill Cocks, Gord Cowan, Jodi Faith, Chris Hellman, Donald Knudsen, Adam Koch, Yusuf Mohammed, Michael Reid, Shila Sharps, Michael Starner, Clayton Stevens, and Stuart Young.

The event will conclude at 9 p.m.

Another forum will be hosted at the Esplanade on Friday night.
