National title for SEAVC 16U girls team

The South East Alberta Volleyball Club Rattlers Gold team won the 16U Girls Volleyball Canada Youth National Championship on Wednesday.

The Medicine Hat-based squad is the top team in the country for their age group playing in the tier one bracket.

The 10 athletes on the team competed in the tournament from May 19-21 in Edmonton.

Also bringing home a medal was the SEAVC Black 16U girls team who finished second in the tier 13 national bracket.
