Medicine Hat city council postpones motions related to leadership expenses, Mustard Seed
Coun. Andy McGrogan asked that a pair of his motions that were up for council deliberation Monday night be postponed, the mayor said at council.
After the meeting, McGrogan told reporters he wanted to push back the proposals until all of council was there to discuss them. Couns. Shila Sharps and Alison Van Dyke were not in attendance Monday.
McGrogan two weeks ago previewed a motion to direct city staff to publish the expenses of senior administrators twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.
That includes the chief administrative officer, Ann Mitchell, managing directors and directors.
