It’s warming up this weekend.

Friday is forecast to have a few clouds and be -7 C. The high on Saturday will be 3 C, with a 60 per cent chance of freezing rain in the late evening and overnight and on Sunday 1 C, according to Environment Canada.

The Beef Pen Show is underway at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede’s Cypress Centre with over 70 exhibitors.

It runs Friday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

🏒 Hockey in Medicine Hat

The Tigers aren’t in action this weekend, but there is still lots of hockey this weekend in the city.

The Medicine Hat Cubs host a game against the Airdrie Techmation Thunder Friday night at 7:30 pm at the Kinplex One Arena. It will be the Cubs’ last game until the new year.

The South East Athletic Club Tigers teams have a few games this weekend. The U17 AAA team hosts the Airdrie Avalanche Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hockey Hounds Rec Centre.

The U15 AA Tigers host the Golden Suns from Taber at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, then the Okotoks Oilers on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

The South Alberta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team also has a pair of games this weekend hosting the Calgary International Hockey Academy for games at the Big Marble Go Centre on Friday at 7:45 p.m. and Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

🌲 Bingo Christmas Party

It’s a Banger Bingo Christmas Party! takes place at Casa Amigos in downtown Medicine Hat Friday night beginning at 8 p.m.

Jokes That Sleigh will be at at Mad Hatter Comedy Club Saturday Night, with doors opening 30 minutes before shows at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
