AHS is advising parents to always supervise children on the playground and remove necklaces or sweatshirts that can get caught in equipment.

AHS also says anyone bicycling, skateboarding or other outdoor activities should always wear a helmet that is newer than five years, has not been a crash, and is not missing any parts.

Parents are also being reminded to make sure they have the correct size car seat or booster for their children before driving, avoid hand-held items behind the wheel and always keep an eye out for pedestrians.
