Bow Island receives cash injection from feds to help fast track housing construction
The federal government has revealed a suite of new housing agreements that will result in a cash injection for a number of Alberta communities.
Bow Island, Duchess, Banff, Sylvan Lake, Westlock, and Smoky Lake received a combined total of $13.8 million through the agreements.
Of this, the Town of Bow Island, about 40 minutes from Medicine Hat, will receive about $1.5 million over a four year period to help fast track housing construction in the community.
