MEDICINE HAT, AB – Cypress County firefighters have responded to about two dozen fires this season, a smaller number than they’ve dealt with in past years.
Emergency services coordinator Jason Linton says one reason they’ve been easier to fight is due to the dry conditions in the county.
Linton joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to explain how the dry conditions have helped, the aggressiveness with which they’ve fought the fires that have happened and the current fire restrictions within Cypress County.
