Explosive testing to take place at CFB Suffield

CFB SUFFIELD, AB – Explosive testing is scheduled to take place at CFB Suffield this week.

Loud noises may be heard near the base, and in the communities of Ralston and Suffield as Defence Research and Development Canada conducts “energetic experiments.”

According to a public service announcement, the experiments will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. March 13-16 in the southwest corner of the CFB Suffield training area.

Smoke may also be visible to people in the area.
