LETHBRIDGE, AB – Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for all of Alberta and many other regions across the country.
The extreme cold warning was issued at 3:41 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Environment Canada says extremely cold wind chill values near minus 40 degrees Celsius are expected overnight on Wednesday.
“The wind chill may moderate during the day but extreme cold will continue through the week,” says the weather forecaster.
