MEDICINE HAT, AB – Cypress County Fire Services responded to nearly 300 calls in 2022. In between those calls, the service established a technical rescue team and focused on increased training for members.
Three types of calls stood out as the most common calls received by the county – medical first response, motor vehicle collision and wildland firefighting.
Emergency services coordinator Jason Linton joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about preparing and preventing emergency situations, deep-diving into call stats to best serve residents and new fire stations being built in Cypress County.
