Pregame: Tigers at Wheat Kings

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers will look for their third straight win tonight against a team they are looking directly up at in the Eastern Conference standings.

The orange and black are in Brandon tonight to take on the Wheat Kings in the first Manitoba meeting of the teams this season. The Tigers dominated both games in Medicine Hat, winning 5-1 on Oct. 22 and 6-1 on Nov. 16.

The Tigers (14-20-5-1) sit fifth in the Central Division and 10th in the conference while the Wheat Kings (17-18-4) are fifth in the East Division and ninth in the conference.

Medicine Hat heads into the game on the heels of lost two straight losses to Swift Current, and Brandon is coming off a win over Seattle on Tuesday.

Brenden Lee’s 38 points and Andrew Basha’s 35 points lead the Tigers’ attack. The Wheat Kings’ attack is powered by Nate Danielson’s 51 points and Noah Ritchie’s 41.
