SAHA one win from championship game at Circle K Classic

Kade Duell’s first period marker stood up as the winner and the South Alberta Hockey Academy has punched its ticket to the semi-finals of the Circle K Classic.

SAHA scored a 4-0 victory over the Yale Hockey Academy on Friday, a big reversal from the 8-7 overtime win in SAHA’s previous game.

Zach Zahara made 29 stops in the SAHA net for his second shutout of the tournament.

SAHA faces the Burlington Eagles on Saturday with a spot in the championship game on the line. That game starts at 4 p.m.

SAHA is the reigning champion, winning in its debut last year when the tournament was still called the Mac’s hockey tournament.
