Dec 9, 2022 | 11:10 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers are in Lethbridge tonight looking to even up the season series against the Hurricanes.

The Tigers won the first game of the series between the Highway 3 rivals, thumping the ‘Canes 9-1 in the season opener on Sept. 24 in Medicine Hat.

The Hurricanes have won the last two meetings by one goal, 5-4 on Sept. 30 in Lethbridge and 3-2 on Nov. 5 at Co-op Place.

The Tigers (10-14-4-1) are in fifth place in the Central Division with 25 points, eight behind the second-place Hurricanes (16-11-0-1).

The next win for the Tabbies will match last season’s total and will be the 400th for head coach Willie Desjardins behind the Tigers’ bench.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. from the Enmax Centre and the Tigers are back home at Co-op Place to face the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday, also at 7 p.m.

You can hear all the action from both games live on Wild 94.5 with voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli.
