VIDEO: Meet Medicine Hat’s newest chief of police

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City council has ratified the hiring of Alan Murphy as the city’s newest police chief.

Murphy, who came to the Medicine Hat police service by way of Edmonton, has been serving as the interim chief since early October.

CHAT News spoke with the new chief about the hiring process, what he saw in the community, and what he’s most looking forward to now that he is chief.
