Fire at 2:45 Monday morning under investigation

Fence and shed fire early Monday morning

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A fire of unknown origin caused about $5,000 in property damage in northeast Crescent Heights this morning.

Crews from all three fire stations responded at 2:45 a.m. to the 400 block of 12th Street NE.

A fence and shed were on fire but crews had it under control quickly.

The cause remains under investigation.

Sunday morning, fire crews worked with Goodyear personnel to put out a fire in a basement storage room at the tire plant in Brier Park.
