Wind warning for Medicine Hat and area, gusts up 90 km/h expected

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A wind warning is in effect for Medicine Hat and the rest of southeastern Alberta.
Environment Canada issued the warning Monday afternoon, saying strong winds gusting up to 90 km/h will develop this evening. Winds are expected to diminish Tuesday afternoon.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
The Medicine Hat-Bow Island-Suffield and Cypress Hills Provincial Park-Foremost areas are covered by wind warnings. Warnings also cover Brooks, Oyen and into central Alberta.
