MEDICINE HAT — A female teacher at Eagle Butte High school in Dunmore has pleaded not guilty to charges that she sexually assaulted a student.

27 year old Rebecca Lynn McCubbin has elected to be tried on the charges by judge alone.

A preliminary hearing on the charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a young person has been scheduled for August 15.

McCubbin was charged by Redcliff RCMP after they investigated a complaint from a 16 year old student on December 13th last year.
