Keith Ritz wins Cypress County byelection

DUNMORE, AB – Unofficial results from Cypress County indicate that Keith Ritz has been elected in Ward 9 – Suffield.

The posted results show Ritz won the byelection vote by a 68-28 margin over Layla Vickerman.

The official results will be announced on Friday.

The byelection was needed due to the death of incumbent councillor Alf Belyea, who died just before election day on Oct. 18.
