Warrant issued after man fails to appear for impaired driving sentencing
MEDICINE HAT, AB – A warrant has been issued for a Medicine Hat man who pled guilty to impaired driving causing bodily harm after he did not appear for sentencing on Friday.
The man’s lawyer told the court today that he spoke with his client yesterday and he was well aware that he was to appear in court on Friday. He said communications with his client had been challenging throughout the case.
Regan Glauser pled guilty in October to the charge on what was supposed to be the start of a five-day trial.
He was charged after a collision on Jan. 25, 2019 in which his pickup truck crossed the centre line on Hill Road and struck another vehicle.
