Langkow shines amid Tigers’ 6-2 loss to overpowering Oil Kings
EDMONTON, AB – The duo of Dylan Guenther and Jake Neighbours terrorized the Medicine Hat Tigers on Wednesday night, falling back to earth in a 6-2 loss.
The Canadian World Juniors pair each had a pair of goals for the Edmonton Oil Kings, who executed with three power play goals against the Tigers.
Beckett Langkow was excellent in relief of Garin Bjorklund, who was pulled in the second frame after allowing four goals on 12 shots against.
Langkow kept the Tigers in the fight with 18 saves in the second period alone, finishing his night with 33 saves on 35 shots against.
