Hidden Valley to open Jan. 6

Dec 22, 2021 | 1:56 PM

Skiers will be able to hit the slopes in southeastern Alberta early next year.

A post on the resort’s Facebook page says Jan. 6, 2022 will be the first day of skiing at the popular Cypress Hills resort.

Annual ski memberships are now available for pre-purchase at shop.albertaparks.ca. Daily passes will be available beginning Jan. 4.

Earlier this week a statement from Alberta Environment and Parks said Hidden Valley was focused on making snow and preparing the team for the 2022 season.

Alberta Parks is seeking a long-term partner to operate the resort but is assuming operations while that search continues.
