Dr. Hinshaw hosting telephone town hall on COVID-19 vaccination for kids Tuesday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents can join in conversation with Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Tuesday evening.

On Nov. 30, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, along with two physicians will host a telephone town hall to address the COVID-19 vaccination for children and answer any questions parents/guardians or any Albertans may have on the topic.

Earlier this month, Health Canada approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages five to 11.

Those looking to take part must pre-register by noon on Nov. 30 and can do so online here. The town hall will take place from 6:30-8 p.m.

Once registered, participants will be contacted at the phone number they’ve provided to join the event.
