21 active cases connected to EBHS

COVID-19 cases spreading quickly at Eagle Butte High School

DUNMORE, AB – A total of 21 active cases of COVID-19 are connected to Eagle Butte High School in Dunmore.

The school has been posting updates since Sept. 2 when two confirmed positive cases were identified at the school. The school’s Sept. 3 update confirmed another 10 cases, and the Sept. 7 update another nine.

Students or staff in a total of 38 classes are considered to have had close contact with the individuals.

The school says regular updates will be sent at the end of each school day if there is any new information.

Elsewhere in the Prairie Rose Public Schools division, there are nine active cases connected to Irvine School. Redcliff’s Parkside School and I.F. Cox School each also have one confirmed case.
