MEDICINE HAT, AB – Hoping to spread the word about free programs offered to teens, the Be YOUth Centre is holding an open house on Friday, September 10.

For almost 25 years, the Be YOUth Centre has provided a fun and safe environment for those ages 11 to 17 with a variety of programs. Some activities offered include sports, crafts and games.

Executive director Amanda Sears is looking forward to showing the community what they offer at the open house.

“We’re just inviting everybody to come and see what the youth centre is about, so everybody with youth around the ages of 11-17, we’re just hoping every body will take a look so they can see what’s going on and what programs we have, what activities interest them so they’re not so intimidated when they come the first time,” Sears said.

The Be YOUth Centre is located on Kingsway, with the open house happening from 4 to 6 on Friday, September 10.
