VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed defenceman Guillaume Brisebois to a one-year, two-way contract.

The team made the announcement in a statement but did not disclose a dollar value.

The 24-year-old native of Longueuil, Que., was selected by the Canucks in the third round (66th overall) of the 2015 NHL draft.

He’s spent most of his time in the AHL, where he’s amassed 47 points and 77 penalty minutes in 179 career games.

Brisebois made his NHL debut in 2018-19 and has played in nine games, all with Vancouver, but has yet to record a point.

The Canucks’ AHL affiliate will move from Utica, N.Y., to Abbotsford, B.C., this season.
