This referendum is controversial only in the Premier’s mind as equalization is both a constitutional and a federal matter, a “yes” vote in the referendum will have no legal consequence, as a provincial government cannot unilaterally modify equalization. The referendum on voting day is worth nothing but the paper it’s written on!! Quit wasting our hard earned tax dollars on your mistakes while in the federal years. Your beef is with your little pity self ideology that is going nowhere, Mr Premier. Pack your bags in your blue dodge and head EAST where you were born. Does the average voter in Canada know anything about it? No. Throw the snippet out there that Quebec gets it. It’s not only from Alberta. All provinces get federal money contributed by all taxpayers in Canada in some shape or form. Voters please be informed before voting on this crap he is peddling. Has he spoke one word of truth in his 2 years we ask?
