REDCLIFF, AB – The Redcliff Public Library is back to business as usual after a year and a half of adjusting.

Now that kids are back and books are flying off shelves, the library has some programs lined up for the summer.

Library manager Tracy Laturnus says there were lots of kids on the first day of reopening and the Summer Reading Program is already filled up.

But the library has plenty of other activities going on including the Summer Reading Challenge that’s open to all ages and includes prizes.

Laturnus says the children’s membership drive is also happening right now.

“Redcliff kids that need a library card or want to renew their card can get entered for a skateboard and helmet and we have our book sale happening August 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in conjunction with Redcliff Days,” Laturnus said. “We also have our bike lending program happening.”

Redcliff Public Library is open 10 a.m to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
