UPDATE: MHPS say missing B.C. man found safe

UPDATE: Medicine Hat police say Joel Goddard has been located and is safe. No further information will be released in this matter. The MHPS thanks members of the public who provided tips that assisted in locating Mr. Goddard.

RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing B.C. man whose pickup truck was found abandoned in Cypress County on March 31.

Langley RCMP says Joel Reed Goddard was reported missing on April 13. He was last seen in Langley on March 24 when he left his home driving a grey 2008 Ford Ranger.

The pickup was found abandoned on the Trans-Canada Highway near Redcliff on March 31. RCMP say in the days prior to and after the recovery of his pickup, it is believed Joel was in Medicine Hat. The last record of his movements was on April 6.

Goddard, 32, is described as being 6-foot-1, about 200 pounds, with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing basketball shorts and a T-shirt.
